Mary Schossler, primarily a self taught artist, is currently doing multi media original art. She enjoys plein air painting of landscapes in Lake County and internationally in Mexico, Canada, and other ports of call including Sidney, Austrailia.
She began with quick sketch portraits of her many students throughout Lake County. She now does portraits of all ages and pets as well.
Mary's work has been in many group exhibits. These include those presented at Weaver Auditorium, Lower Lake; Guenoc Ranch, now known as Langtry Ranch Vineyard and Winery Showroom; EccoArts Sculpture Walk; and Main Street Gallery, Lakeport. She has been internationally shown in Matzatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico at Las Hadas Resort.
